Most Significant Person

At a time when one feels depressed or troubled, one would seek somebody to get advice. Usually, the advice will affect one’s life a lot. The person I sought for was my father.

Unlike most people, I do not have a mother at home, so I could easily talk to my father and be influenced by him. During the 17 years, my father had helped me make important decisions, which have determined the course of my life.

For example, he found out about foreign language high schools, and saw it a way to develop my potentials in English. Thus, he paved the road of my life towards entering a foreign language high school.

Another important decision that he took part is in selecting colleges. Upon learning that there are good business schools in Singapore, he suggested to broaden my option. From then on, the top three on my list of colleges are National University of Singapore, Singapore Management University, and Nanyang Business School.

My father had always been my best guide and advisor throughout my life, and his words have greatly influenced me.
